We decided to make a road trip to Cairngorm, which was about a 4 hour drive there and 3 hours back, due to the snowfall over the previous night. We left Dundee at 6am, stopped at Tesco Riverside to get gas and check the tires, and started the journey.

It was suggested we had an ice pick for the journey. Angelo took a toy sword. |

Overall the trip was amazing. We walked for about an hour and a half and were met with a snow storm, at which point the "professional" climbers were like 'yo, y'all should head down now, or you'll get lost'. Well thats not exactly what they said but it was implied. Needless to say we looked like idiots with our non-proper climbing wear. It was like if we'd ice skated with knives tied to our shoes (I'm bad with metaphors if you can't tell).
The pictures I took do not do justice to the actual scenery. Next time I will definitely wear proper climbing shoes, but other than that I'd say the trip was a success. I'll be back with another post at some point. Uni starts the upcoming Monday, so I can't really even give a proper estimate on when it will be uploaded. It will be a surprise, even for myself.
